Recipe search?

A couple of years ago I found a wonderful recipe for eggnog that called for alcohol and vanilla ice cream. I remember it was cooked also. Could someone please help me? I cannot find any recipe that calls for vanilla ice cream instead of eggnog ice cream and tons of alcohol.Recipe search?
CHRISTMAS CHEER (Beverage)





1/2 pt. Crown Royal


1 carton of egg nog or 1/2 pt.


Breyer's Vanilla Bean Ice Cream


12 oz. can Coke


1 tbsp. nutmeg or cinnamon


1 tsp. vanilla extract





Combine egg nog, Coke, nutmeg or cinnamon, and vanilla extract into a very large pitcher. Stir until ingredients are well mixed together. Chill for at least one hour. Remove from refrigerator, add Crown Royal to taste desired. Now serve. Merry Christmas.

1 gallon egg nog


1 c. bourbon


1 qt. vanilla ice cream


1 tsp. nutmeg


1 c. dark rum


1 c. brandy


1 tsp. vanilla extract





Purchase a gallon of eggnog available in the dairy department of your favorite grocery. Thaw the vanilla ice cream by warming in your microwave oven set at low power. Allow the ice cream to get mushy - not warm enough to cook. Stir all ingredients together, adding vanilla extract a 1/2 teaspoon at a time, according to your taste. Sprinkle nutmeg on top when the drink is served. Serves 24.Recipe search?
