There is a great podcast for vegans that you should check out. It's called Vegan Freaks. It's hosted by Bob and Jenna Torres. They also have really cool, active forums. It's been a really great help and support for my wife and I since we've been vegan.

the vegan society website has loads of good info, plus the vegetarian society has loads of stuff, lots of they're recipes are either vegan or can be easily converted,
try www.peta.com they have recipies and things you can buy. no chatting though.. www.myspace.com/gaygod he is a vegan, like a myspace celebrity, tonnes of people are vegans on his website.
